A WOMAN CLOTHED WITH THE SUNFLOWERS

Of course, this is a take on the Book of Revelation that mentions... 

‘a woman clothed with the sun and with the moon under her feet and on her head, 

a crown of twelve stars.’

I wanted to paint this for my three grandchildren, as Noah, the oldest asked me if I would paint them a picture of Mary.

In essence, the real sunflowers are the children themselves!

I dedicate this painting to Noah, Jacob and Isaac. 

May Our Blessed Mother watch over them, all the days of their lives.
