DENNIS’ YUKON CABIN

Our builder Dennis is a man’s man from theValley. He constantly teased me about going off to the Yukon with Jim and living in a cabin in the quiet, no women allowed. I thought that odd for a couple of men who could chatter on more than any woman 

I knew! So, here is my painting to thank him. Dennis is sitting by the ffire while

his dog Spud looks out at the deer. I was painting it in Advent and hence The holy Family coming toward the cabin in the distance to knock on Dennis’ door to see if there is room to come in. Into his heart.
